ZIJUE PESA ZA ZAMANI ZA ZANZIBAR NA TANGANYIKA

The rupee (Arabic: روپيه‎) was the currency of Zanzibar from 1908 to December 31, 1935. It was subdivided into 100 cents (Arabic: سنت).The rupee replaced the Zanzibari ryal at a rate of 2⅛ rupees = 1 ryal and was equivalent to the Indian rupee, which was also in circulation. The Zanzibari rupee remained equal to the Indian rupee and was replaced on January 1, 1936, by the East African shilling at the rate of 1½ East African shillings = 1 Zanzibari rupee.Bronze coins were introduced in 1908 in denominations of 1 and 10 cents, together with nickel 20 cents. No further issues of coins were made.

Rupia (Kiarabu : روپيه ) Hii ilikuwa ni  pesa iliyokuwa ikitumika na Jamhuri ya Zanzibar toka mwaka 1908 hadi December 31, 1935 .

Na ilikuwa imewekwa katika mgawanyiko wa sent mia 100 kiarabu   سنت Pesa hiyo ilikuja kubadilishwa  na kutumika Zanzibar Ryal kwa uwiano wa Rupia Mbili unusu ambayo ilikuwa na thamani ya Ryal   2⅛ Rupia  = 1 na ilikuwa sawa na Rupia ya India ,ambayo nayo ilikuwa katika mzunguko wa kifedha wakati huo . Rupia ya Zanzibar iliendelea kuwa sawa na Rupia ya India hadi hadi pale ilipokuja kutumika badala ya shilingi ya afrika mashariki   Mwezi January 1,1936

Shilingi ya Afrika mashariki  kwa uwiano wa shilingi moja na nusu ya afrika mashariki kuwa sawa na Rupia moja ya Zanzibar ,Aidha pesa za sarafu zilikuja kutumika mwaka 1908 zikiwa na madini ya Shaba zikisimama badala Senti moja hadi ishirini.

The shillingi (Swahili; English: shilling; sign: TSh; code: TZS) is the currency of Tanzania. It is subdivided into 100 senti (cents in English). The Tanzanian shilling replaced the East African shilling on 14 June 1966 at par. For earlier currencies used in Tanzania, see East African florin, East African rupee, Zanzibari rupee, Zanzibari riyal and German East African rupie.Amount in the Tanzanian shilingi is written in the form of x/y, where x is the amount above 1 shillingi, while y is the amount in senti. An equals sign or hyphen represent zero amount. For example, 50 senti is written as "=/50" or "-/50", while 100 shilingi is written as "100/=" or "100/-".In 1966, coins were introduced in denominations of 5, 20 and 50 senti and 1 shillingi, with the 5 senti struck in bronze, the 20 senti in nickel-brass and the 50 senti and 1 shillingi in cupro-nickel. Cupro-nickel 5 shillingi coins were introduced in 1972, followed by scalloped, nickel-brass 10 senti in 1977. This First Series coins set, in circulation from 1966 up to 1984, was designed by Christopher Ironside OBE.
In 1987, nickel-clad steel replaced cupro-nickel in the 50 senti and 1 shilingi, and cupro-nickel 5 and 10 shillingi coins were introduced, with the 5 shilingi octagonal in shape. In 1990, nickel-clad-steel 5, 10 and 20 shillingi were introduced, followed by brass coins for 100 shilingi in 1994, 50 shilingi in 1996 and 200 shilingi in 1998.
Coins currently in circulation are the 50, 100 and 200 shilingi. A 500 shilingi coin was issued on the 8 September 2014

Shilingi (Eng,Shilling) Ambayo alama kuu katika maandishi ni Tsh Hii ni pesa iliyokuwa ikitumika Zamani katika Jamuhuri ya Tanganyika  kwa maana ya Noti ambayo ilikuwa imegawanywa katika mfumo wa senti mia 100  (cents in English) Shilingi ya Tanganyika  iliacha kutumika mwaka 1966 juni 14 ilikipisha pesa ya afrika mashariki.

kabla ya kubadilishwa kwa matumizi hayo pesa  ziliyokuwa zikitumika Tangannyika  kabla ya Matumizi hayo zilikuwa  East African rupee, Zanzibari rupee, Zanzibari riyal and German East African rupie na wakati huo pesa zilikuwa zikiandikwa kwa Herufi X na Y ambapo X iliwakilisha kiwango kuanzia shilingi moja wakati Y ilisimama badala ya Senti na alama ya Kulinganisha ilitumika kutofautisha senti na shilingi kwa Mfano senti zilikuwa zikiandikwa hivi  "=/50" au "-/50",  wakati  shilingi mia  100 shilingi ilikuwa ikiandikwa Hivi "100/=" au "100/-" mwaka 1966 zilianzishwa sarafu zikiwa zimegawanywa kwa mafungu matatu Senti 5,20,50 na shilingi moja huku senti 5  ikitengenezwa kwa madini ya shaba shilingi za sarafu zilikuja kuanzishwa  mwaka 1972.
Ambapo ubunifu wa pesa hizo ulianza mwaka 1966 na kuja kutumika mwaka 1984 na zilitengenezwa na  Christopher Ironside OBE, sarafu za shilingi zilikuwa ni Shilingi 5,ambayo ilikuwa na umbo la  octagon 1990 aidha shilingi 5,10,20 zilikuja kutumika Muda mfupi Badae na sasa hazipo tena kwani mwaka 1996 ilianzishwa sarafu ya shilingi mia 100 na shilingi mia mbili 200 mwaka 1998 Sarafu ambazo zipo kwenye mzunguko kwa sasa ni shilingi 50,100,na 200 huku shilingi mia tano ya Sarafu imekuja kutumika Tar 8 Mwezi September 2014
